what’s in a name?
The above may either be the stupidest question one ever asks or the most intelligent of all. Either way, it is not a subject of argument anymore that name is a matter of high importance. People can formulate their perception about a person simply by gathering the information related to such person and nowadays, that can be done effortlessly by using a search engine. To enable that, the only thing has to be known is such person’s name to be used as the keyword for the search. (Have you ever tried using a search engine to find out what available information has been recorded on the cyberspace about you or any particular person you’d like to know? Try once, you might be surprised with the results)

and I hate you so…..
Would you think that the earth will be a much better place without men? I do not know what your answer is (unless you say so by commenting this blog) but my straight forward answer to that is no. I hate men, yes; I really do – but not all of them and not without reasons. I used to be a very naive little girl who thought that her father was the hero of her life, the sole provider that made the world revolved around her and so on but things happened and even a great man is still a human that is prone to (and bound to make) mistakes. I started to hate men as soon as my brothers grew up and “transformed” themselves from cute and nice brothers to opposite entities that thought of women as the means to have fun. (Well, my brothers are still very nice and cute individuals – I just strongly disapprove their womanizing character)

Indonesia v. Malaysia or Malaysia v. Indonesia
Recently, Petronas, the Malaysian petroleum company announced that it has awarded the oil exploration project to its subsidiary – Petronas Carigali and the Dutch company Shell. There was nothing wrong with that except that the area where such project is supposed to be carried out is in the area which – Indonesians believe to belong to Indonesia. Then the IT war began, from printed copies of newspapers, the newspaper online edition, chain e-mails, comments and responses in blogs, etc. The matter does not stop there, cyber war has also begun. Indonesian crackers penetrated and expressed their views on Malaysian related websites and vice-versa. Some express their ideas by cursing the action of the Malaysian Government while others are more diplomatic, they use soft-tone statements to remind the Malaysian Government that what they have done (and are doing) is wrong.
