‘pause’ no more!

I wrote the earlier post early this morning. Thereafter I continued reading my thesis before I went to bed at about 8.00 am. I woke up about an hour ago, freshened up myself then found my husband was having his breakfast. He told me: “you should not have said you’d pause posting at your blog”

Dubai – Day 1 part II

Every one was looking to where the dhow was heading. The disappointment was obvious on everybody’s face. We were expecting that the dhow made the turn to let us to go on board so that we don’t have to miss the experience (especially since many of us could not catch the cruise on the next day). Some were so disappointed; two families were about to leave when others pleaded: “Oh, don’t desert us, we need the crowd to fight for the cruise this evening!”

Dubai – Day 1 part I

I can’t recall the exact time I got up on our first day in Dubai.  Anyway, we got ourselves ready then we went to the hotel restaurant for the breakfast. I was on holiday so I had all the excuse not to avoid carbohydrate (what an excuse, right?) and thus, I took the pancake which was wonderful (or maybe it was just because I missed carbo) but the maple syrup was good. We also had veal sausages, saute mushrooms (which was my favourite and I took plenty of these), beef bacon, etc I also took a bite of donut (oops..)
