A Perfect ‘Return’ – part III

where did I stop? hmm let me see – I guess just at the point when every one was about to leave – when the gathering had come to an end. As a tradition, ladies hugged each other good bye (although as usual some continued chatting despite the goodbyes). I had to leave – I had to join our friends who usually spent their weekends in the bowling alley.

oh no!

the phone rang, I got up and there it was – my husband called to ’send’ the good-night kiss.

Thanks to technology, skype, gmail chat, ym, etc – despite the fact that we are miles apart we have a very good communication – perhaps we talk more to each other than we were when I was around. Of course it is not the same, it won’t ever be. I can pretend that – whenever I send Adzka to bed – I was giving him hugs. He does the same thing every night – says “muahsss” several times, tells me “I miss you ten, twenty, hundred, three hundred, ten hundred, etc.” oh what a cute smart boy I have.

My supervisor walked me to room 7 on the 2nd floor of the Lord Hope building for the viva.

It was just after 11 am when we walked in. The professors stood up; we were introduced. We changed the table arrangement to facilitate the discussion. And there went the conversation (it was lovely and was in such a relaxing atmosphere ).
