Shape of my Heart

Looking back on the things I’ve done
I was trying to be someone
I played my parts, kept you in the dark
Now let me show you the shape of my heart

Its been a very busy week or rather weeks… but life seems to get better, alhamdulillah. I can’t spare time to write, but I received an e-mail containing the below and it is too good not to be shared. So here it goes:

There is this gentleman – he is my former lecturer when I was studying at the International Islamic University Malaysia. Of course he has been a PhD holders for so many years – he already was when I was an undergraduate student. He came to know that I completed my PhD last month. He said, he is very proud of me and as we chatted, he asked if I’d like to have drhurriyah.com

Kau Ilhamku

Last weekend, when we were in our friends’ house, my husband sang this song and dedicated that to me. Many years ago, back in 1999 – he also dedicated this song to me. Again, two nights ago – he played the MP3 and made the dedication for me. Sweet, isn’t he.

otherwise – set him free (and in that way, you are also setting yourself free)

After we completed the master study, however, he did his PhD immediately while I chose to work. As the result, of course, he had gotten his PhD many years before I did.

a little note

I received the below a couple of minutes ago.

It is very sweet – if one knows the context. Among many people I know, this guy is one of those who always make me smile :)
As a matter of fact, he always has and never had done the contrary :)

the Wii ‘exercise’

I worked until after 3.00am today. Slept for about 2 hours. I went to the office early today. The guard remarked that I was as happy as usual. had unexpected guests and several meetings. I am extremelly exhausted but happy and looking forward to completing the task I currently have. Ideas keep on coming and that keeps me alive. I left the office after 2.30pm – because I was too drowsy to drive and chose to come home in my husband’s car.
