Time Flies…..

Time flies so very fast……. I really did not have the time to write anything here for the past few days. My deepest apologies for that. And I will be absence again for the next couple of days as I will be traveling. But I supposed there will be an internet access from Sultan hotel (previously Hilton) Jakarta. Touch wood, take care and ’see’ you again soon…. I really have to fly now!

This is life….

It was after 8.00 this morning, Sunday 19 August 2007. I was on my way to the office. Unlike any other day, there was a little traffic towards the parking area, just before the Arab Bank. That was when I notice there was this old man wearing a simple thub (traditional Arab men’s dress – usually white in colour).

Another weekend

Since we live in Bahrain, I can’t recall if I ever appreciate weekends as much as I do nowadays. Lunch Break

I had a meeting with a client this morning. The representatives of the client are such nice people. Not only they treated me with respect, accommodated whatever was necessary and on top of that, the manager invited me to attend his “Taekorabic” class and because the company is in charge of some five star hotel in Bahrain and some other services, they told me to tell them if my family and I want to stay or dine in the hotel. Really sweet, aren’t they?

Just as…..

Among those people I miss very much is this lady, whom I have the opportunity to know just for a brief period of time but she is such a lady. I was thinking of her when I received these:

Nasi Goreng Kerabu

Yesterday I wrote down some recipes from one nice Malaysian lady. I was in her place until about isya time and I got many good recipes from her (she also thought me how to ‘wrap’ kue lopis). But there was one particular dish that I really wanted to try. I used to order this dish while I was in Malaysia and I seriously can’t remember when the last time I had one.Today I reached home after 6.20. Adzka was having his dinner. I told him that after he’s done we would go swimming. He was very delighted. We went, but my husband and Adzka went down first. I told my maid just to prepare several things so that I could prepare the dish immediately after swimming.
