A GDN reader was wondering why there is no manufacturing factories in Middle East countries.

Let’s be realistic. It would be cheaper for any developed countries to have their products manufactured in other countries like China or India than any Middle East countries for the latter option would translate into additional cost to pay for the Indian workers’ visa. That does not include the BD10 per month LMRA fees that a factory owner would have to pay for each of those workers.
